0 Quick Apply Full-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description Our Field Service Technicians are the Subject Matter Experts for our proprietary PAC Jacket equipment and service.
You will provide technical support for PAC Jacket equipment and film sales team.

We expect our techs to understand general safe work practices, the basic principles of mechanical repairs on industrial machinery, basic electrical safe work practices, and be able to perform basic maintenance and repairs.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Work safely and be able to identify potential safety concerns both during job duties and while interacting with customers off site.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform minor and major repairs.
Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures.
Use basic shop tools to perform all necessary repairs, installs and PM work Perform machine upgrades and new equipment installation with supervision Follow basic outlined inventory control process to ensure critical parts inventories are maintained.
Qualifications:
Basic industrial mechanical experience including pneumatics.
Basic industrial electrical experience including VFD and servo motors Basic understanding of the following electronic control systems software:

Allen Bradley Micrologix 500 Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 Siemens TIA Portal V13 HMI:
Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk View ME Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus Siemens TIA Portal V13.
Ability to handle difficult customer requests, expectations.
Ability to complete customer and salesperson product trial requests Education and/or
Experience:
Technical school graduate or equivalent.
1 to 2 years' experience in a maintenance environment or some schooling in related fields.
Language Skills:
English, oral and written communication skills (required).
Effectively record and communicate machine repairs both internally and externally.
Mathematical Skills:
Basic mathematical skills.
Understand decimals, fractions and the metric system.
Ability to read basic measuring tools (scales, micrometers, gauges) Reasoning Ability:
Basic reasoning skills.
Have the ability to work through basic electrical and mechanical issues as they arise.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs (required).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Ohio driver's license (required).

Ability to work in hot/humid or cold environments Moderate noise level Travel Requirements:
The employee must be able to travel for periods of time to multiple locations including customer sites, trade shows, other PAC facilities, etc.
Must be able to fly both domestically and internationally and able to obtain a valid passport Must be able to drive long distances if required in an automobile or other mode of transportation.
Must be able to travel at minimum 50% of scheduled working days.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
