Atrium Medical Center The RN-Child Health Clinic functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing.
The RN-Child Health Clinic is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice and demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles.
The RN-Child Health Clinic also coordinates/directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team.
The RN-Child Health Clinic is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
The RN-Child Health Clinic provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts the patient outcomes and care provided to patients/families/significant others.
The RN-Child Health Clinic is responsible for knowledge and implementation of the mission, vision and values of Atrium Medical Center.
Education:
Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
Licensure:
Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License Certification:
Current CPR certification
Experience:
Must possess hospital experience or be a new nursing graduate (within past 6 months).
Prefer minimum of one year's experience in pertinent clinical specialty.
Skills/Other:
Must be willing to work with acutely ill patients, including emergency situations.
Works independently as well as functioning as a team member and charge nurse as assigned.
Capable of adapting to changing environment.
Practice is consistent with Ohio Board of Nursing standards and regulations.
