Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Perform patient assessments and record vital signs - Assist with pediatric dental procedures - Assist with medical coding and billing - Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for dental prosthetics - Complete medical documentation using electronic health record systems such as Epic Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Proficiency in using dental software and electronic health record systems - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Ability to work well in a team environment - Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
